New graphical information: Inverter performance ratio

As part of our innovation series, we present you the new graphic "Inverter PR" (performance ratio) as part of the March release. To evaluate the performance of individual inverters independently from weather conditions, the ratio of normalized energy to irradiance is measured.

To identify low-performance inverters more quickly, they are ranked in ascending order on the basis of their PR. The color coding used in the bars enables you to perform an initial evaluation of the inverters. The graphical information is shown in the evaluation section of VCOM and in the safer’Sun portal. Inverter PR can also be selected in the “system diagram” portlet in VCOM.

Automatic determination of the reporting intervals of data loggers

As a way of simplifying the set-up and alarming of systems, we have introduced another new feature: The reporting intervals of third-party systems has been automatically determined since February. A smart algorithm is used to monitor the systems' transmission behavior.

The reporting intervals are used as a parameter in the data logger's communications alarm. The value suggested by the system can be exceeded if necessary.

The blue’Log X-Series is now compatible with the following inverters and energy meters:

• Veris E51C2 energy meter

• After filling out the form, please send it to the listed e-mail address. You will be sent an e-mail confirming the receipt of your notification and a ticket number.
• After receiving the go-ahead from our support team, print out the form, add it to the return and send the package to the listed service address.

Note: Carriage forward will not be accepted!

Warranty
You will be charged for repairs if the warranty for your device has already expired.

On February 23, 2016, the IT team at meteocontrol played host to the WEB & WINE event. The get-together of the IT community in Augsburg is held each month. About 40 people accepted the invitation to the headquarters of meteocontrol last month.

meteocontrol provided 50 slots and while enjoying good food and a drink or two, the IT specialists talked about new Web developments and designs, and used the evening to actively network.

New people, new faces, new views and new impressions. The meta level is the focal point of this event. It was a successful evening, and meteocontrol is looking forward to other events - held in its offices once again.
