Barnard College Construction Update - April 14, 2016

Dear Neighbor,

Work continues this week on the deconstruction of Lehman Hall. It may look like not much is happening, but that’s because most of the work is still being done inside the building.  So far, the weather has cooperated and we are staying on schedule. We expect to be done with the deconstruction by mid-June and begin rock excavation shortly thereafter.

Two Week Look-Ahead

Construction Schedule

  • Monday -- Friday: 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., but may occasionally extend until 6:30 p.m.
  • Saturdays: 9 a.m. -- 5 p.m. throughout the month of April.

We will not have construction work on key days at the end of the semester, including Saturday, May 7; Saturday, May 14; or during Barnard's reading period, final exams or commencement ceremonies.
