Leo Needs a Home! =^..^=

Main Content Inline Small

Leo is such a charming little guy!  He is only about 3 1/5  years old and already he has had quite a life.  Rescued from a hoarding situation, he came to ASCS about a year ago.  He is a beautiful tabby and white boy.  He has a funny crimped ear (from a past hematoma) and one of his eyes is a bit cloudy (though he sees just fine).  We think this just makes him all the more handsome!

Leo has a wonderful personality -- he is so loving and sweet.  He loves a lap, lots of hugs and pets!  He is like a little dog that follows you around.  Leo is also good with other kitties.

So, you're wondering why he hasn't been adopted!  Well, Leo has tested positive for FIV (also known as kitty aids).  It's an unfair stigma, because he is healthy and can live a normal healthy life.  FIV is transmitted only by a severe bite or mating -- and only to other cats (not dogs, kids, you or me!)  It is suggested that FIV kitties are adopted as an only cat (or with other FIV kitties).  I also believe that Leo would be ok with a nice little dog!

We are happy to give you more info on FIV if you are interested in adopting our Leo...  he is really special and he deserves a loving home!

Thanks for considering Leo  =^..^=

Robby Needs a Home! =^..^=

Main Content Inline Small

Robby is just a little over 2 years old.  He is adorable, sweet, smart and very, VERY loving!  We asked his foster mom to help us write this... this is what she says...

Five reasons to adopt Robby:  1. You like puppies but don’t want to walk them in the rain. Robby is so cute and puppylike that his foster mom called him a “puppy cat.”

 2.  The animal you most admired at the zoo was a long-bodied, sleek, black panther with intense green eyes. Fortunately, this “panther” is a big, sweet baby who wouldn’t dream of biting or scratching.

3. You like playing with cat toys. Robby will bring you his favorite toy again and again and be so happy you share his passion for fun. He can even do “high fives” for treats.

4. You’re patient and you understand he’ll hide for a few days until he’s got the lay of the land, then will respond to your invitation to be your best friend.

5. You like to laugh and to give cuddles. Robby will have you in stitches with his antics, and will purr like an engine when you pet him. He’s a real love bug!

Spunky Seniors Looking for Homes!

Meet Panda, Papi and Tino ...

Panda is 10. This sweet little tuxedo girl lost her human companion to cancer. She is a gentle, loving kitty and ok with other nice cats. Panda is on a special diet and needs a medication for some mouth issues (but it's pretty simple and not an expensive medication).

Papi is also 10 years old. He is just about the cutest, sweetest tabby boy ever (and I love those tabbies!). His family loves him dearly, but allergies are forcing this issue. Papi would make a lovely companion in a quiet home.

Tino is about 12. What a handsome gent he is! Tino's mom became too ill to care for him and he is hoping for a bit of that gold at the end of the rainbow!!

You can see more pictures of these kitties on our website www.ascscats.org (just click on 'KittyCam') or you can click on the 'petfinder' link and read more about them!
