URGENT: Important Traffic Advisory for Eagleton Residents

This is a critical update related to traffic around the Reclinata Circle on both General Drive and Championship Drive.

On this, the first day of the project, there have been some near collisions because motorists are ignoring the traffic control devices (barricades and cones) and going the wrong way on one-way roadways. Your cooperation is vital for everyone's safety.

The traffic circle at the Reclinata palm tree is ONLY OPEN TO INBOUND TRAFFIC from the main entry gate and from the communities on Championship Drive. Exiting vehicles from the communities on General Drive MUST USE THE BACK GATE. PLEASE COMPLY WITH ROAD CLOSED SIGNS! (See graphic)

The incidents today are a stark reminder of the importance of adhering to this traffic diversion for the safety of all Eagleton residents and the 500+ drivers who come into and exit Eagleton daily.

To illustrate the gravity of the situation:

• Near Head-On Collision: Earlier today, a large truck was headed north on Championship Drive and nearly collided head-on with a passenger vehicle attempting to exit from the Reclinata palm tree traffic circle. THE PASSENGER VEHICLE HAD CLEARLY IGNORED THE ROAD CLOSED SIGNS!

• Close Call Between Passenger Cars: In another instance, two passenger cars within the traffic circle narrowly avoided a collision, highlighting the potential dangers of disregarding the designated traffic flow. THE EXITING PASSENGER VEHICLE HAD CLEARLY IGNORED THE ROAD CLOSED SIGNS!

Your safety and that of our other residents and visitors is our top priority, and these measures have been put in place to protect you and your fellow residents. Your full cooperation and compliance with this traffic arrangement is critical to everyone's safety.

AGAIN AS A REMINDER:

If you are leaving Eagleton from the communities on General Drive, you MUST use the back gate exclusively for exiting.

If you are entering Eagleton, please proceed as usual through the main entry gate or from the communities on Championship Drive and proceed WITH CAUTION around the Reclinata Circle

• Follow all posted signs, road markings, and instructions from workers.

• Exercise patience and caution when navigating the Reclinata traffic circle.

Together, we can complete this two month project and still ensure the safety of all residents and visitors in Eagleton. Your cooperation in following these traffic rules is paramount to prevent further accidents.

Thank you for your immediate attention to this matter. Let's work together to keep Eagleton a safe and pleasant place to live.
