Hope Force Reservists,                                                    July 15, 2016

URGENT:  After assessing the flood situation in Louisiana, Hope Force International's (HFI) leadership has made arrangements with a local partner in Baton Rouge where collaborative relief efforts will soon be underway.

The flooding across the southern portion of the United States has been described as "Katrina-level."  The rainfall in Louisiana this past Saturday has caused six deaths and has led to over 20,000 people rescued.  Many were stranded along I-12 until rescue operations could be completed Sunday; 10,000+ residents were placed in shelters. As waters begin to recede, massive response efforts by multiple agencies will be required.

Please pray for the provision of resources and safety as HFI staff and Reservists make their way to Baton Rouge.
