Federal Legislation - Things to Do!

Most of us have Ted Yoho as our U.S. Representative.  He has been very receptive to listening to his constituents and he needs to hear from us.  Go to:  https://iqconnect.lmhostediq.com/iqextranet/view_newsletter.aspx?id=100175&c=FL03TY  and read his most recent newsletter.  It gives the locations of his upcoming Town Hall meetings.  Sign up to receive this newsletter so that you can stay in touch with him.

Ask Representative Yoho to  Support H.R. 75 to Get US out! of the UN!  This year Rep. Paul Broun (R-Ga.) reintroduced the
bill that Ron Paul had introduced many times under
the number H.R. 1146. This time its number is H.R.
75. Help keep America independent. Contact your
representative and ask him or her to cosponsor H.R.
75. Ask your senators to introduce a companion bill in
the Senate.

Ask him to Oppose the TPP and TTIP Trade Pacts
President Obama is hoping to conclude negotiations
by the end of 2013 on a new trade deal with 10 other
Pacific Rim countries known as the Trans-Pacific
Partnership (TPP). He has also launched negotiations
on a trade pact with the EU known as the Transatlantic
Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP). Contact your
senators and representative in opposition to these free
trade deals on the basis that political integration follows
economic integration. We have witnessed how the
economic integration brought about by the European
free trade agreement between sovereign European
nations has led to the political integration of these
same once sovereign nations into the European Union.
We need to keep America independent by rejecting
the TPP and TTIP. See also “Moving Toward World
Government Via Free Trade Plans”

Ask him to Support Audit the Fed Act of 2013
Back in 2012 one of Ron Paul’s signature bills, “Audit
the Fed,” passed overwhelmingly in the House by a
vote of 327-98, but was never brought to a vote in the
Senate. Since Ron Paul has retired from Congress,
Rep. Steve Stockman (R-Texas) has reintroduced
Paul’s Audit the Fed bill as H.R. 33, Audit the Fed
Act of 2013. Rep. Paul Broun (R-Ga.) cosponsored
the bill. Last year’s partial audit of the Fed by the
GAO revealed many disturbing loan activities of the
Fed involving trillions of dollars that would surely
justify the full audit that would be authorized by H.R.
33. Contact your representative and ask him or her to
cosponsor H.R. 33. Ask your senators to introduce a
companion bill in the Senate.

April 11th Meeting Features Paul Henry

Paul Henry will be our guest speaker at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 11th at the Taylor Building located at 128 SW Birley Ave. in Lake City.  Paul has been lobbying tireless in Tallahasse regarding the issues that threaten our liberty.  He recently formed Paul Henry & Associates and this is what he says about the new business:  Paul Henry & Associates was launched to fill the need for liberty lobbying that has existed in Florida's Capitol for many years. We've seen law after law passed that directly or indirectly impacts our freedom and liberty.  Paul will be bringing up up-to-date information on the legislation in Tallahassee and explaining his lobbying efforts and what it takes for him and John Hallman to do what they do in Tallahassee to help keep us updated on all that is going on.  If you have a certain issue or Bill that you would like Paul to address, please email me (shiggins@windstream.net) and I will ask Paul if he can address it.   We will have copies of the American Patriot Newspaper, tickets for our gun raffle, an update on the County Commissions,  and other information that will help you keep up with what is going on.  Please make an effort to attend this meeting.  Invite your family and friends.  We need more and more people to get involved to help us make a difference in our country!
