(CPCHAP) is one of the largest not-for-profit home care service agencies in New York City. CPCHAP is well-respected for its ability to provide culturally and linguistically competent home care services for individuals who live in one of the five boroughs of New York City and who are medically disabled, elderly and/or physically disabled who might otherwise require institutionalization. CPCHAP is also entrusted to manage the Consumer-Directed Personal Assistance Program (CDPAP), which offers even greater flexibility to individuals because CDPAP allows a consumer to hire and retain close relatives (son, daughter, siblings, cousins, grandchildren, grandparents, and parents for a consumer who is 21-years-old or above, etc), friends, neighbors, or virtually anyone (except a spouse) whom the consumer deems fit to care him or her. Best of all, Personal Assistants who work under the CDPAP program enjoy competitive wage and excellent fringe benefits. If you are taking care of a loved one and would like more information about CDPAP, click here or watch this informational video. Online Registration Available!
