We had another wonderful week in PreK!  We reviewed letters and letter/sounds and numbers to 12.  You will find a progress report in your child’s folder today. 

Have a safe, restful, wonderful Spring break! We look forward to hearing about the adventures and family fun when the children return to school!

• Bible Verse: Mark 12:30, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.” We will practice this verse for two weeks. Practice at home too!
• Bible Story: The Younger Son (The Prodigal Son)
• Reading/Phonemic Awareness: We will introduce the letter and sound of “Yy”. (Think yellow and yogurt)
• Math: Measurement/Number awareness
• Unit: Plants
• Show and Tell: Be prepared to share something you did or enjoyed during your spring break!

• March 15 - No school! Enjoy the head start to spring break!
• March 18-22 - Spring Break
• April 2 - PreK Transition Meeting from 11:00-11:30 in the CMR (Cafeteria Meeting Room) This is especially for parents who are sending a child to Shiloh for Kindergarten next year, but would be beneficial for anyone wanting to know what to expect in Kindergarten.  Come and have lunch with your child at 10:30.  After lunch, Mrs. Foley will have a 30-minute preview of the upcoming school year.  If you can’t attend, have someone take notes for you.  A handout from the meeting will come home in your child’s folder.
• April 18 - Easter Chapel/Speech Meet at 8:30 in the Worship Center.
• April 19 - No school in observance of Good Friday.
• April 25 - PreK Program in the Worship Center at 8:30 a.m.
