Every year for the last 7 years both long and short term missionaries and Turkish believers have united for up to 120 continuous hours of worship and prayer to cry out for a harvest in Turkey. This year I had the incredible privilege of attending this Burn prayer and worship event for the sixth time and each year it seems the openess to the gospel and the display of God's power increases.

During this week I led several teams of people on the streets to worship, preach the gospel and pray for the sick. Most every year we go out we see little to no results  but this year was dramatically different.  There was a marked increase in teh openess of people to the gospel and the ease of healing the sick caused all of us to stand in awe.

One evening as we worshiped on the streets I started a conversation with a Turkish man and he asked me to share with him what I believed. I shared Jesus from the fall to the ressurection. At the end he said, "how do I become a worshiper of Jesus?" I was blown away! I have never had a muslim ask me this question before! Even though he was curious he was not quite ready to receive the Lord as savior.

We asked him if he had any pain in his body we could pray for and he told us about the painful arthritis in his legs. After we laid hands on him he began to move his legs and began exclaiming in Turkish, "Its' impossible! It's impossible!". HIs joy was contagious and stirred another man to ask for prayer too. This was one of about 10 healings and many divine appointments. 

WATCH THE VIDEO! One day as we were worshipping on the streets we met several young men who played ancient middle eastern instruments. They began playing traditional Turkish music and teaching us to dance. Within minutes a crowd gathered and began dancing, clapping and recording us on their phones.  

After about thirty minutes of this we took the opportunity to preach the simplicity of Jesus to the crowd that gathered. The hunger and openess was beautiful.  We ended up getting to pray with several and one young was instantly healed of an injured ankle.   Many of these young men pleaded with us to become their facebook friends and even gave us their photographs and asked us to pray for them! Many that we ministered to visited the Burn and the local church.
