Bible - Adornaments: Learning different names for Jesus
Verse - Isaiah 9:6, "For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." Isaiah 9:6
Spelling - Vowel Team -ea (long e sound: team, steam, treat, teach)
Reading & Phonics - Read “The Big Race”; practice reading words with open syllables; work on main idea
Heart Words: into, watch, start, over
Grammar & Writing - Complete sentences, practice marking sentences; practice finding nouns, adjectives and verbs
Math - Subtraction facts; review measurements; introduce quarters
Science/Social Studies - Christmas Around the World and experiments with candy

Important Dates

December 16 - Christmas parties at 12:00; Early Dismissal at 1:00 (No extended care)
December 17 - January 2 - Christmas break
