More extra functions for Octalarm-Touch

Even after the introduction of the Octalarm-Touch two years ago, we continue to develop the software for this alarm device for critical technical processes. This year's update includes 5 new functions, of which the change log (audittrail) in the logbook is a great contribution to the transparency of the safety of alarms.

Installing software version 2.3.0

Users can perform the update themselves as soon as the message "new software is available" appears on the alarm display. The update process is safe and takes about 15 seconds, which means that the alarm is not interrupted for a long time.

The new functions are included in the manual (version 04-2021).

S-BATT-6.4V available

Insurance companies in the agricultural sector emphasise that every 2 years the battery of an alarm device must be replaced. Has your Octalarm-Touch been in use for 2 years? Then it will automatically report that the supplied rechargeable LiFePO4 battery needs replacing.

The user can easily replace the battery himself. The S-BATT-6.4V can be ordered from us via the web shop or by mail and costs € 27,- excluding VAT and shipping and handling costs (based on actual costs).
