Kindergarten eNews

It’s been a fun week learning about farming. Some great show and tells were brought by students. We will be moving on to our apple unit next week as we get ready for Fall!

Next Week

  • Show and Tell:  Bring an apple on Monday. It is important that we all have them here on the same day. We will do activities with them. We don’t want anyone left out. It can be any color, size, sticker and stem still on or not. We will compare them and graph them.
  • Bible verse: “Keep me as the apple of your eye; hide me in the shadow of your wing.” - Psalm 17:8
  • Bible stories: A bride for Isaac and the stories of Jacob
  • Reading: We are putting together letters we have learned and beginning to read our first guided reader. We will keep practicing sight words, as we will be testing them in a few weeks.
  • Math: We will begin comparing objects by size, weight, capacity, height, and length.
