Free Briefing: Covering the Pope

Pope Francis’ first trip to the United States is packed with events including the first-ever papal address to Congress, a meeting with President Obama and a speech at the United Nations. An estimated 7,000 journalists will cover the papal visit Sept. 22-27. NPF will bring together reporters who cover religion to offer insight and ideas for coverage. We’ll have experts with data and knowledge on the issues that the Pope has brought to the fore: poverty, hunger, immigration, the environment and more.

NPF Fall 2015 Internship: Apply Today

Wharton Seminars for Business Journalists

Each year, the National Press Foundation offers two all-expense-paid fellowships to two journalists based in the U.S. for the annual October "Wharton Seminars for Business Journalists," at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. The fellowship includes full tuition, housing, most meals and round trip transportation.
