We had a great short week to start off the new semester. It was fun hearing about the amazing things your families did for Christmas. This New Year will be INCREDIBLE!
Next Week
Unit Study: We will learn about different polar animals that God created.
Show and Tell: One thing that your child received for Christmas (must be small enough to fit inside their backpack)
Bible: We will continue studying Christ’s life and ministry.
Bible Verse: "And He said to them, 'Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.'" - Matthew 4:19
Reading: We will review short vowel sounds /e/ and /i/, learn new sight words, and continue guided readers.
Math: We will review addition and counting skills as well as introduce wholes/parts of wholes and equal parts.
Important Dates
January 21 - No School, Observing Martin Luther King Jr. Day
January 22 - 100th Day of School (if there are no snow days before then)
