History is a disciplined process of inquiry into the past that develops students’ curiosity and imagination’.

The Australian Curriculum: History overview.

In order for students to understand themselves, others, and the world around them they must first be able to discover and acknowledge the events and personalities that have shaped and molded the world we live in today.

With the wide range of teaching and learning resources and tools available, understanding historical events can, and should be, a fun and engaging experience for students. Rather than simply memorising key dates and happenings from the past, students can instead re-enact, explore, or investigate them as if they were there at the time.
