A year in reflection…a year of innovation
As 2015 wraps up, it’s customary to reflect on the past year, while looking forward to the year ahead.
I have to say that this has been one of the most exciting years for Avanti in recent memory. From winning not one, but TWO Must See’ems this year for Avanti Slingshot, the significant number of enhancements added to Avanti Classic version 14, to our most successful User Group Conference ever, I could not be more pleased with the hard work and dedication provided by the entire Avanti team. And of course there’s you, customers both old and new, who have supported us and provided invaluable input and feedback as we continue to shape the best Print MIS platform in the market.
Below are just some of the past year’s highlights:
As I look ahead to 2016 I see fantastic opportunities on the horizon not just for Avanti, but for our industry as a whole. I definitely see a resurgence in print, as more and more companies embrace some of the incredible technologies coming to the foreground.
Printers will continue to move beyond the basics of just “providing ink on paper” towards managing the complete marketing cycle of print projects and adding new lines of business such as fulfillment, large/grand format, wearables, etc. while providing tools that help their customers access the print shop at any time, from anywhere, and on any device.
Expansion and diversification will help differentiate you from competitors while meeting the demands and high expectations of today’s print buyer. Print MIS will be even more relevant in 2016 as print shops leverage new, as well as existing, technologies. Now, more than ever, it will be critical that business decisions are made based on accurate, real-time data.
So as we settle into the holiday season, I want to take this opportunity to thank all of our customers, partners, prospects and staff for helping make this one for the record books. I wish each and every one of you best wishes for a happy, healthy and peaceful holiday season and New Year.
