Kindergarten eNews

We have had a great few weeks learning about what a president does and some of their responsibilities. We have also loved learning fun things about George Washington and Abraham Lincoln and how they shaped our country!

Next Week

  • Unit Study: Dr. Seuss
  • Show and Tell: Bring your favorite Dr. Seuss book
  • Bible: We will finish up Elijah and begin learning about the prophet Elisha.
  • Bible Verse: “Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, Your will be done on Earth as it is in heaven.” Matthew 6:9-10
  • Reading: We will continue to review blends and also talk about final consonant blends (sp-wasp, sk-mask, mp-jump, pt-kept, etc.) We will also continue sight words and guided readers.
  • Sight words: saw, look, stop, are, they, out, them, was, my, me, we, like, you, said, will, be, when
  • Math: We will work on identifying and writing before numbers 1-19, learn about the quarter, and introduce time to the 15 minute. Students will also begin writing by 5’s and reviewing number words.

The Private School division was added six years ago, and we have been blessed to win it six years in a row. Thank you for helping us achieve this accomplishment! Our parents, our students and our staff make Shiloh a truly special place! We are honored to serve our students and families each day and look forward to many more years partnering with you as we raise the next generation of Godly leaders.

  • March 9-13 - Book Fair
  • March 13 - Morning with Mom & Art Fair @ 7:00 am in the Fellowship Gym
  • March 19 - Banner Chapel @ 8:30 am in the WC, and Student-Led Conferences 
  • March 20 - No School
  • March 23-27 - Spring Break (No school)
