“I want to say thank you, and for celebrating our birthdays during the COVID-19 epidemic. Even though we cannot congregate downstairs like we used to, CPC finds a way to celebrate our birthdays by delivering buns and cake to us.” – Resident Cen, Hong Ning Housing for the Elderly Since the start of the pandemic it was imperative that we ensure the safety of our most vulnerable community members. CPC, since then has partnered with many organizations like GrownNYC, Heart of Dinner (formerly called Table to Table) and more to continue food distribution services and food deliveries to our seniors and families that need it. Our Hong Ning Housing for the Elderly had remained open throughout the pandemic to ensure that our seniors are well protected and cared for in all ways possible, both physically and mentally. Your support will help us to continue the essential services that our children, youth, seniors and families still need. DON'T WAIT TILL GIVING TUESDAY TO GIVE BACK CPC will be participating in #BrooklynGives2020 which officially kicks off today! From now till the end of Tuesday, December 1st, (also known as Giving Tuesday) support CPC and help us reach our goal to raise $5,000! WHAT IS #BROOKLYNGIVES2020? A campaign launched in 2016 by the Brooklyn Community Foundation to drive awareness and support for grassroots, community-led nonprofits dedicated to racial justice.
