Dear Brewmaster,

I moved away a few years ago to San Diego and I find myself missing your beers like crazy. Do you have any plans to begin distributing down here?

Hopefully,
Jeff R.

Hey Jeff,

We haven't made it down that far in California yet sorry to say. But you can keep an eye out for when we do with our new interactive map showing places that you'll be able to find our brews either on tap or in bottles and cans. Check it out here.

Cheers!

Tom Young

While you can never fully repay mom for everything she’s done, you can sure try by bringing her to Great Basin Brewery this Mother’s Day for brunch, lunch or dinner. We’ll serve her up a complimentary pint of beer, glass of house wine, or mimosa with the purchase of any entree.

Mother’s Day Special:
Mama's Bitchin' Berry Grilled Chicken Salad
Crisp Greens with strawberries, almonds, grilled chicken and a Bitchin’ Berry Vinaigrette, served with Icky bread.

Reno Craft Beer Week is coming up fast and we’re thrilled to have a part in celebrating Reno’s vibrant and growing craft beer scene! We'll have the following great events at our brewpubs along with many other events we'll be supporting all week long.

May 15th: Brewmaster's Brunch

It's just like our usual Sunday brunch, except better! We're adding a special Brewmaster's Combo Platter which includes barley crusted Icky french toast with cinnamon cream cheese frosting, a carnitas breakfast taco, an Icky biscuit and gravy, and a side of seasonal fruit.

To get your morning going right we'll also be offering these special beer cocktails to go along with it (priced separately).

Great Basin Cowboy Coffee
Stout, Bulleit Whiskey, and a shot of Grind espresso.

Berry & Cucumber G&T
Bitchin' Berry, muddled cucumber, New Amsterdam gin, and tonic.

May 17th: Rubicon Tap Takeover

Join us at both of our Reno and Sparks brewpubs starting at 5pm where we'll be honoring our new collaborative brew with Rubicon Brewing Company - Icky Knife Fight. We'll also feature other Rubicon brews on tap for you to sample. The brewmaster of Rubicon Brewing, Glynn Phillips, will be stopping by in Reno and Sparks, so be sure to stop in and say hi.

May 22nd: Pints & Pig Pairing

We’ll be partnering up with our friends at Pignic Pub & Patio for a pint and pig pairing. It happens on May 22 at 4pm and will feature a 4 course menu crafted by our very own head chef, James Garza. Tickets are just $30.

May 22nd: You Had Me At Beer Fest

We’ll be helping to close out 2016 Reno Craft Beer Week with the inaugural You Had Me at Beer Fest on Sunday, May 22 from 1-5pm outside our Sparks brewpub. There will be regional brewers, food trucks, live music and four hours to reflect on Reno’s craft breweries. Tickets also include a meal voucher from a food truck or $10 toward food at our Sparks brewpub. VIP tickets are $50 — get early entry at noon — and $40 pre-sale will be available at www.youhadmeatbeerfest.com. Day of tickets are $50.

Come & Air it All Out

Spring weather has definitely been keeping us on our toes, but hey, that’s not stopping us from drinking our brews in the sweet spring sunshine when Mother Nature cooperates. Our patios are open at both Reno and Sparks brewpubs anytime the weather is up to par.
