3rd Grade eNews

The Christmas Chapel was absolutely wonderful! Thank you all for your help in making it such a success. Our third graders did so great with their songs and solos!

• Bible: Seeking the Lost
• Verse: Luke 19:10, “For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save the lost.”
• Spelling: In unit 17, students will study words with “o” spelled with a single letter or a vowel digraph.
• Spelling Words: draw, cost, dawn, across, belong, cross, soft, crawl, song, boss, straw, lawn, raw, lost, law 
• Math: Review, Test 4, Line Graphs, Six as a factor, Counting money
• Science: Chapter 3: Plants
• English: Classifying sentences- add preposition and object of preposition
• Reading: Skill: Cause and Effect, Model Book: Teach Us, Amelia Bedelia, Novel: The Littles

• December 15 - International Christmas (No Chapel)
• December 16 - Christmas Parties @ 12:00 with early dismissal
• December 19-January 3 - Christmas Break! Teachers return on January 2 and students on Tuesday, Jan. 3
