Fluid Transfer International’s ‘METEOR’ Hydrant Dispenser Modules

FTi will have 5 Meteor modules available August/September 2013 based on our internationally specified ATEX compliant 3,800LPM Hydrant Dispenser.

Designed and manufactured to a right hand drive, right hand operational configuration, ready for integration onto the latest specification Euro VI IZUSU, MAN or Mercedes Benz chassis or compatible chassis of your choice.

Flexibly designed to refuel the largest commercial aircraft or the smallest regional jets with flow rates up to 3,800LPM through the twin deck hoses. Conforming to the latest European Standard EN12312-5 and JIG 1 issue 11 requirements and fully approved to ATEX electrical requirements.

  • A platform with a reach of 4.2m facilitating the refuelling of the Airbus A380.
  • Operating Temperature of -20°C to +50°C
  • Flowrates up to 3,800LPM through its two deck hoses and 1,000LPM through its one reel hose.
  • Fitted with a Satam ZC17-250 positive displacement meter and Veeder Root EMR3 electronic register system.
  • A Faudi filter water monitor constructed in carbon steel with epoxy coat lining, meeting the latest requirements of IP1583 and IP1581 respectively and fitted with Fluid Transfer’s high differential pressure shutdown system.
  • Fuelling Hoses – Goodyear Jet Ranger “Type C” manufactured to EN1825.
  • Ø100mm X 11M long intake hose with 3M extending boom.
  • Ø50mm X 20M long reel hose.
  • Ø63mm X 3.5M long deck hose.
  • Ø100mm Carter intake coupler.
  • Carter hose end pressure control (HEPC) couplings equipped with 45psi regulator, vacuum breaker, 100mesh screen.
  • Supplied with Fluid Transfer’s pneumatically assisted “Pit Buddy” coupling lifter.
  • Pipework constructed in grade 304L schedule 5 and 10s seamed stainless steel tubing throughout.
  • 120L dumptank with visual contents window and a Low, High and High/High float switch system for automatic emptying and emergency cut off in the event of overfilling.
  • Single pedestal mounted hosereel with double race ball bearings and hydraulic rewind.
  • FuelTronic© refuelling management system incorporating deadman timer and monitoring unit for up to 16 interlocks.
  • FuelTronic© brake interlock system preventing the vehicle from being moved if any item is left unstowed. Items protected are:

  • Lanyard reel – manual rewind with 30m of red PVC coated stainless steel cable.
