Tally Beck Contemporary is pleased to host the New York City debut of Nykó Macá as we unveil her single’s music video and launch her website in celebration of Filipino culture and sound. Nykó Macá’s latest single, “MNL,” embodies the Urban Brasilipino sound that merges her Filipina heritage with her Brazilian martial arts of Capoeira discipline. The lyrics are an infusion of her native Tagalog with English, Portuguese, French and Spanish. Her international background and aesthetic make her a uniquely global musician who stimulates cross-cultural interaction.
