Hi there,

If you thought cloud was just business as usual these days, you might be surprised to hear AWS CEO Andy Jassy’s take on things. Jassy outlined his views, and offered up advice for companies looking to transform their business with cloud, at this week’s re:Invent in Las Vegas.

Of course, this being re:Invent, there were also plenty of announcements of new products and features – and we’ve got the local take on what those announcements mean for the Kiwi market too.

In other news:

  • KPMG goes back to Origins with supply chain offering
  • Gartner predicts imminent death of personalised marketing
  • IT staff in the doldrums about their work
  • NZ firearms buyback data breach

We also take a look at how a mining services company increased its systems reliability, availability and security and cleaned up its infrastructure with a move to cloud – despite the need to migrate a heavily modified version of Dynamics.

And, if you’re at risk of outgrowing your accounting software and want to consider a move to business management software, we’ve got a team of experts on hand to help. Our webinar next Wednesday looks at the signs to watch out for, and how your business can capitalise on having an integrated management solution.

Enjoy the read,
