A new report from IDC and Microsoft aims to take the pulse of consumer sentiment around trust in digital services – and the results aren’t entirely positive for business. In fact, only 31 percent of consumers across APAC trust organisations offering digital services to protect their personal data. It’s a sobering stat, particularly when you consider that more than half of respondents also said they’ll switch companies if they have a negative trust experience.
