Personalized Help for All Students

Whether you are an undergraduate or grad student at Brown, career counselors can help you explore potential pathways that are right for you. CareerLAB's counseling team - which is made up of counselors, undergraduate peer career advisors, and graduate fellows - can help you assess your skills, draw connections between concentrations/fields and careers, and even discuss feelings of confusion of where to begin.

No matter where you are on your journey, your first step is to visit CareerLAB during walk-in hours:

Peer Career Advisor (PCA) Walk-In Hours for Undergrads:
Sunday-Friday, 1:30-3:30 p.m.

Graduate Student Walk-In Hours:
Tuesday, 3-4 p.m.; Wednesday, 4-5 p.m.; Thursday, 2-3 p.m.

January "Winternship" Opportunities Open Soon

Careers in the Common Good "Winternships" are mini-internships for undergraduates. First-years through seniors can apply to participate in a two-week internship project in a social enterprise or non-profit organization in New York, Boston, San Francisco Bay Area or Washington, D.C.

The application window opens on Oct. 9 and the deadline to apply is Oct. 30. Check BrownConnect for complete information.

Read more about CCG Winternships here.

BrownConnect's Tip of the Week:

When searching for internships, you may need to try different filter combinations. For example, someone looking for internships in the Non-Profit sector related to environmental science might find more opportunities in the industry titled "Non-Profit - Other" than in the industry titled "Environmental Services."
