Network controlled alarms via the Adesys standard 'Octalarm Link

The Octalarm-Touch Pro is a further development of the basic Octalarm-Touch. In addition to safe and reliable alarms via today's (significantly changed) digital telephone networks, the Octalarm-Touch Pro has an extra Ethernet port and the Adésys standard 'Octalarm Link' (JSON REST API) for network controlled alarms. This makes it possible to report large numbers of alarms of technical installations via a separate network interface.

Now also data export and import

Developed function for Octalarm-Touch Pro now also available for Octalarm-Touch

For the Octalarm-Touch Pro the function 'export and import' has been developed. This makes it easy to make a back-up of the settings. It is also possible to upload this backup as basic settings in another alarm device (of the same type). This function will also be made available for all Octalarm-Touch alarm diallers in the field via a software update. For this the device must be connected to the internet.

Installing software version 2.4.1

Users can perform the update themselves as soon as the message "new software is available" appears on the alarm display. The update process is safe and takes about 15 seconds, which means that the alarm is not interrupted for a long time.

The new functions are included in the manual of the Octalarm-Touch (version 06-2021).
