The two companies are hoping the answer is a powerhouse of data insights to further lubricate the supercharged Kiwi real estate market. The deal brings together CoreLogic’s data, sourced from mandatory council and REINZ reporting, with Trade Me Property's own data to create a better view of the full property ownership lifecycle, from the first search through to sales and settlement. It will further enhance Trade Me's existing property insights and is another example of the growing power of data and the relationships being forged to capitalise on data’s potential value. Just last month CoreLogic partnered with global insurance risk assessor Munich Re to model climate risk exposures for individual properties across New Zealand and Australia.
