Do you use the current APIs for the RRF?
There are upcoming changes to the platform on which the APIs operate that may result in changes needing to be made on your end. If you currently use APIs and you haven’t heard from someone at RSM yet please send an email to RSMLicensing@mbie.govt.nz to let us know.
Call for expressions of interest in FM sound broadcasting licences
Applications have been received for the following FM broadcasting spectrum licences:
- Mt Egmont (New Plymouth District) 105.2 MHz, licence ID 232406, reserve price: $60,669 incl. GST
- Ramparts Road (Southland District) 98.4 MHz, licence ID 233013, reserve price: $2,492 incl. GST
- Milford Sound Downer Communications Hut (Southland District) 104.0 MHz, licence ID 233014, reserve price: $1,150 incl. GST
21 Seaview Rd Piha (Auckland District) 105.8 MHz, licence ID 233071, reserve price: $1,150 incl. GST
Radio Spectrum Management is seeking expressions of interest in these commercial FM licences, closing 5pm on 1 November 2021.
Following this, a decision will be made to determine if the licences can be allocated by direct sale or by a competitive allocation process.

The primary goal of Cyber Smart Week is to increase the cyber resilience of all New Zealanders by empowering them with simple steps they can take to protect themselves from cyber security threats.
