Click here April 2020 UpdateScholarships for the 2021 school yearSpring is usually the moment when school is wrapping up and both teachers and soon-to-be graduates are celebrating. In this unprecedented moment in time, however, we recognize that this is a tough time for both. Even though we are unable to celebrate in the same way – together, at large gatherings and in classrooms – it’s still time to think forward to next year. The Lambton Federation of Agriculture will be offering ten scholarships this year for the 2021 school year, for both college and university students. The governments of Canada and Ontario are investing up to $1 million in new funding through the Canadian Agricultural Partnership (CAP) to connect workers with in-demand jobs in the agri-food sector to keep the nation's supply chains strong and store shelves stocked during the COVID-19 pandemic. The program opened April 17 and will be on a first come, first serve basis. More details on it can be found here.
