Closing the Gender Pay Gap event
Women in PR's fantastic event 'Closing the Gender Pay Gap' was held in conjunction with The Works Search last Thursday 22nd September. It was a hugely successful panel debate, with host Mary Whenman of Women in PR, and guest speakers Communications Director Annette Spencer, performance coach Hils Carmichael, Managing Director of Speed Communications Kate Bosomworth, and Managing Director of The Works Search Sarah Leembruggen.
The panel discussed their views on the gender pay gap in the industry and shared their expert tips on how to negotiate salary and bonus increases with success.
We hope there will be many more successful and awareness-raising events on this key PR industry issue from Women in PR in the future. Also a special thanks to Laura O'Connell of Instinctif Partners for hosting at a fantastic venue.
