What's on offer in our Education Department!
Have you tried our revamped KS2 Conservation session?
This session focuses on the impacts that people can have on nature. We have taken into account your feedback and it now involves group work to find out what threats some animal species face and what we can do to help. There are still amazing live animals to meet and customs confiscated animal artefacts to enable some real hands-on learning.
Revamped KS2 Resources
Keen to explore the new Tropical House?
We have developed some new downloadable resources to help you to explore this fantastic new exhibit. The Tropical House has the theme of ‘Energy for Life’ and with this in mind we have produced a ‘Food Chains’ resource for both KS1 and KS2 groups. The ‘Rainforest’ downloadable resources have also been updated accordingly.
Lower Pupil Admission Price
Take advantage of our lower admission price and visit Marwell during the Autumn or Spring term.
During these terms pupil entry is available for school groups at a reduced rate of £5.45 per child.
