4th Grade eNews

We hope you’ve had a wonderful and restful Christmas break with your family. We can’t wait to see you Monday! Happy New Year!

January 4 - 8, 2021

  • Bible - We will be discussing Salvation by Grace.
  • Meory Verse - 2 Timothy 1:9, “He has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace, which was given to us in Christ Jesus before time began.”
  • Spelling - Latin root word- SOLV meaning “to loosen” (ex: solve, dissolve, solvent)
  • Language - Begin ch. 6, Interjections, Possessive Nouns, Complex Sentences
  • Math - Roman Numerals, Estimation, Estimating Divisors, Quiz on Friday
  • Reading- Begin Wonder and our study of Perspective
  • Social Studies - Daily Geography
  • Science - Begin Ch.5 Electricity and Magnetism


  • Please send a labeled coat for when we are able to go outside. Also, any jackets worn in the classroom are to be navy blue.
  • Metal water bottles are not allowed in the classrooms this year. Please send a plastic bottle.

  • December 21-January 3 - Christmas Break! See you January 4th!
  • January 18 - MLK Day - No School
  • February 12 - We will have school and Valentine parties in the afternoon.
  • February 15 -  No School
