Standout Patient of the Month :: Justin Ruppe

space
space

Justin Ruppe

Justin is the starting quarterback for the Lake Oswego Lakers who has had a lot of success so far this season as he leads the Lakers to a 2nd state title game.  However it did not come without a lot of hard work in the off-season and pain during the season.  Justin worked extremely hard with TAI L.O. Physical Therapists, strength coaches, and football coaches in the summer to address the little things that needed improvement.  This attention to detail and working with multiple professionals is the type of training that many Professional Football Players utilize.

In the beginning of the Laker Football season, Justin was hit hard and fractured his ankle.  He worked extremely hard and utilized all his resources at TAI L.O. Physical Therapy, his LOHS ATC Ron Moore, assistant coach Forrest Sherman, and team physician John Greenleaf.  He was back on the field leading the Lakers in no time.  Justin’s leadership and work ethic is displayed on the football field, but goes far beyond the turf which is why he is our standout patient of the month.

Colleen Little WINS the Portland Marathon

The thousands of miles on the road, laps around the track, and hours working on her running form and strength all paid off on one of those rare perfect days when Colleen Little won the Portland Marathon.  This was a very special day for Colleen because she was also celebrating the 10-year anniversary of one of her two NCAA Division I soccer tittles for the University of Portland.  She had a lot of her former soccer teammates, family, running friends, and TAI co-workers cheering her on throughout the course. However there was one special presence that only Colleen could feel which was that of her former coach and mentor Clive Charles.  Visit www.lofitt.com or www.oregonlive.com for the full Oregonian article.

Colleen Little is not only a phenomenal physical therapist who passionately cares about providing exceptional physical therapy services to her patients, she is an equally exceptional athlete.  It takes a lot of determination and hard work to be able to run and compete at the level she does while working full time.  If you are in need physical therapy or help with running or your soccer game, come in and see why Colleen is truly one of the best.

DeDe Lamont Massage & Fitness

DeDe Lamont Massage & Fitness

Massage Therapy is one of the oldest healing arts, and is a comprehensive therapeutic approach to improve and maximize ones current level of function.

Recent research through the Buck Institute indicates that massage therapy reduces inflammation of skeletal muscles acutely damaged through exercise.  The study provides evidence for the benefits of massage therapy for those with musculoskeletal injuries, and evidence at the cellular level that massage therapy may decrease inflammation more than anti-inflammatory medications.

Massage Therapy Gift Certificates are Now Available for the Holidays!

Pricing for One-time Sessions: 60 minutes – $75.00 | 90 minutes – $100.00
