Opportunity to inspire a filmmaker

Filmmaker Callum Cooper is developing his debut feature that revolves around the life of a character who has a spinal injury. He is interested in interviewing people with a spinal injury to getting a better understanding of day to day experiences, in order to create a more accurate depiction. Callum's short films have been well received, screening at international festivals, including Sundance Film Festival. Georgina heads back to university

Disability Sport and Recreation would like to take the opportunity to acknowledge Georgina Power and the important role she has played within DSR during her time as Marketing & Communications Coordinator. Georgina has accepted an offer she could not refuse and will be taking up a role at Deakin University. Georgina’s enthusiasm, drive and her attention to detail will be sorely missed by all at DSR. We wish her every success in her new role at Deakin University.
