Hey everyone!

With a mixed feeling of relief and anxiety I'm sending the final files of issue 14 to my printer in Berlin later this week. When three or so months of work lead up to one PDF export, I always worry that I've become blind to a big, obvious mistake that everyone but me can see. Anyway, I'm hopefuly it'll all go well and I can announce the launch either next week or the week after!

Meanwhile, after two weeks of writing and editing, I finally published my 6500-word article on making an indie magazine over at Medium. If you're interested in the business of magazine-making, make sure you check it out.

Alright, this editor's note isn't going to write itself. Have a great week, everyone!

Kai

This Weekʼs Line-Up

A space-efficient, wall-mounted desk
01

Live in a small apartment? "Perfect for small spaces, the LAXseries Wall Mounted Desk attaches to the wall and makes legs seem like pointless obtrusions. Convenient cubbies underneath do away with drawers, allowing for quick stowing and access."

A beautiful, open-source mail client
02

There are so many email clients out there now that it's easy to lose track of which ones I have already mentioned, but I'm pretty sure I haven't covered Nylas. I saw a friend of mine use it the other day and was very impressed with the interface. Upon looking into it further I'm also impressed by its 'open-sourceness'. Worth checking out!

Make your gloves touchscreen ready
03

Tired of taking off your gloves to use your smartphone? Apply Nanotips, a fast-drying liquid that makes your favourite gloves touchscreen-friendly.

Create better project roadmaps
04

Roadmaps can be a powerful tool to keep your team on track when working on complex projects. Roadmunk is a web app that helps you visualise progress in many different ways and makes it easy to print or share it with others.

A shirt haters will hate
05

It's not directly work-related (or is it?!) but I just had to share this shirt. Note also that the men's tee is more expensive than the women's tee, because: "I am choosing a 21% markup for men's products as an experimental tax relational to the gender pay gap."

Get yourself deleted
06

Don't you hate it when you sign up to a web service to give it a quick test drive and then discover that there is no way to cancel the account if you don't want to stay? Just Delete Me lists services that are easy to cancel, and publicly shames those that are not. If your service is on the bad-guy list, please fix it!
