"Tourism Talk" Member's Promotion Opportunity

In partnership with the Tablelander and Advertiser newspapers, TTT members are invited to be showcased as part of our “Tourism Talk” monthly initiative.

One member per month will receive the exposure of their property by providing a Call to Action to prompt readers to take action. We are looking for prize values of $100 or greater and in return you will be published in the newspaper with either two photos or one photo and logo. Ideal giveaways that may be considered would be dining vouchers, accommodation, entry to your attraction.

Expressions of interest for next edition of “Tourism Talk”
must be received no later than 15th May 2016.

Accepted offers will be advised by email and the voucher is required to be sent to the TTT office prior to publication.

 

Update on Atherton Tablelands Trails Campaign

The 6 Atherton Tableland Trails itineraries have now being completed and being printed. As soon as they are received, these flyers will be distributed via the lighbox displays at high traffic tour desks in Cairns and Port Douglas. 

Work has commenced on the destination website for information on these themed trails with the objective to be completed in conjunction with the launch and distribution of this campaign.

The next step will be to work with operators to take advantage of their membership with TTT and develop or update their online Bookeasy Reservations system listing to enable visitors to book their accommodation as part of the themed itineraries.

The power of the #hashtag

In our social media world, the #hastag in one of the most powerfool tools around originally developed by Twitter.  The hastag links social media posts to groups and users interested in the topic and updates the users on the topic, in real time. 

We encourage all members on social media platforms that when you are posting an image or video of the Atherton Tablelands, anywhere within your post type in #athertontablelands

Your content will be grouped under this hashtag and this allows social media users too see the vast amount of different experiences they can have on the Atherton Tablelands.  This stage in a consumers research is a key factor in the process of deciding to visit a destination.  By using the hashtag you will also have a chance to be featured on our Instagram and Facebook page. 

 

Membership Rates 2016/17

Effective 1st July 2016 Members rates will increase by 5%. New rates (including GST):

Supporter - $85.00
Bronze - $140.00
Silver - $275.00
Gold - $520.00
Platinum - $920.00

The membership prospectus for 2016/17 is currently being finalized and will be available on the Corporate Website once completed. Membership renewals are emailed to members the first week of July and are valid until 30th June 2017.

Kuranda Rainforest Journeys
