91st Saturday Reunion · October 22, 2016

Dear Colleagues,

The schedule for our
91st Saturday Reunion (on 10/22) is ready! You can download it from our website HERE: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B404rJALRaGweFltY2d3a2Q0aFU/view. (If the link is not clickable, please copy and paste it into the address bar of your web browser.)

We have one important request, as well as details about parking, the TCRWP app, lunch, and the book sale.

Request: Please help us continue to offer these days by abiding by the spirit of them. Leaving the keynotes (or any session) early to rush to the next creates ripples of anxiety and chaos and this derails the entire experience. Please don’t!

Parking: There are a number of parking garages in the area. Below are two that we recommend:
The Rapid Park Garage, located beneath Riverside Church (entrance on 120th Street between Riverside Drive and Claremont Avenue) is $33 for all day parking (more for oversized vehicles). However, if you print THIS coupon and show it upon entering, the price drops to $30 ($42 for oversized vehicles). The garage has asked that you use a credit card with this parking coupon.
The GMC garage at 532 West 122nd Street (between Broadway and Amsterdam Avenue) is $33 for regular sized vehicles and $43 for oversized vehicles.

TCRWP Mobile App: TCRWP has an app! You can use it to navigate your way through this Saturday’s schedule, to look up presenters, and more.  Download it here:
• iPhone:
https://itunes.apple.com/app/id1089927211
• Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.attendify.confsbya4w

Lunch: We will sell E-Z Pass lunch vouchers from 7:30 - 9:00am in Riverside Church and outside of Cowin Auditorium. For $10 (cash only, please), you can purchase a voucher that includes an entrée, drink, and snack. This voucher speeds you past the checkout lines at the Grace Dodge Cafeteria or in the Starbucks café located on the first floor of Zankel Hall.
• Or,
bring your own lunch and eat it in any workshop.

Book Sale: We will be selling books by presenting authors and TCRWP faculty and friends, as well as the new grade-specific stand-alone units on nonfiction writing, literary essay, word detectives, and mystery. The Book Sale will be located in 157 Thorndike and will be open from 11:00am-2:10pm.
• We also will be selling Dav Pilkey’s books in the Cloister Lounge at Riverside Church from 7:30am until the start of the keynote at 9:00am. Dav will be signing copies of his books during Session I from 10:00-11:00am.

We look forward to seeing you.
Best,
Lucy Calkins
