President Donald Trump’s announcement that the US won’t be part of a global agreement on climate change has sent shockwaves around the world. One response, argues Lorenzo Fioramonti, is to question conventional approaches to economic growth and to look for ways of approaching development that aren’t based on the continuous exploitation of humans and nature.

People with albinism in Africa face danger as well as abuse. Although the dangers aren’t as great in South Africa as in Tanzania, Kenya and Zimbabwe, people with albinism still struggle with stigma and discrimination. Eleanor Ross explains.
