For 60 years, CPC has been here for our community, helping immigrants, children and families, and neighbors to navigate challenges, realize opportunity, and experience belonging. From our beginnings in Manhattan’s Chinatown in 1965 to our services for tens of thousands across all five boroughs today, CPC has been able to meet current needs and anticipate emerging ones by staying rooted in our neighborhoods and walking alongside our community members. 

Today, we are proud to share our new five-year Strategic Plan, Community Roots to Collective Impact, a roadmap for how CPC is evolving to meet the moment. Your support and partnership make this work possible. 

As immigrant and low-income New Yorkers face rising costs, shrinking safety nets, and societal challenges, CPC is expanding our capacity to serve and advocate. Grounded in our history and guided by the lived experiences of our communities, CPC is strengthening our capacity to:

• Provide culturally and linguistically responsive programs that reflect our community’s diversity,

• Amplify community voices in shaping fair and inclusive policies, and

• Build the financial and organizational resilience needed to sustain this work for decades to come.

CPC was founded as a grassroots effort, by community members and partners like you, and that spirit still guides us today. Together, we can ensure that every young person, older adult, and family in New York City has the resources, dignity, and opportunity to thrive.
