It's been a busy past few months for LISC NYC and I’m pleased to share some highlights of our work with our community-based, government and philanthropic partners to create a more equitable and inclusive city for all New Yorkers. On the affordable housing front, we launched NYLOP 2.0 this summer to help mission-driven organizations develop and preserve affordable housing on their land. In the area of economic development, we kicked off a second round of the Commercial Corridor Challenge to support community-based organizations to strengthen small businesses and corridors in their neighborhoods. We also continued to build out our economic development and community facilities lending, enabling several major projects to get to closing through our technical assistance and financing. Finally, in the area of health, we moved into the implementation phase of Bridges to Health Equity, a multi-partner home-based asthma prevention program that will enable community-based organizations, health care providers, and managed care organizations to work together to improve family health and housing conditions. Special thanks to our major funders, profiled below, who enabled us to launch and expand these initiatives! I wish you happy holidays and a wonderful New Year!
