Dietitians Unite postponed to 26th October due to Coronavirus

Dear Nutrition Leader

Thank-you for your messages of support regarding Dietitians Unite.

We hoped that we wouldn’t have to send this email, however it probably won’t come as a huge surprise to you that we have made the difficult decision to postpone Dietitians Unite. Dietitians Unite 2020 will now take place on 26 October at the same venue: Crown in Melbourne.

With the current global COVID-19 situation, it just wouldn’t be responsible for us to gather a large group of people together, no matter how innovative, intelligent and trail-blazing they are. Aside from the obvious risks of spreading illness, travel restrictions for many of our registrants mean that we can’t give you the experience we want to.   

We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience. These are unsettling times and we thank you for your ongoing support as we work out the best way forward.

At Dietitian Connection, we live and breathe all things nutrition, leadership and innovation. Your professional development needs are important to us; we remain committed to ensuring you can keep up-to-date with the latest industry and clinical news. Our usual e-newsletters, podcasts, webinars and online resources will remain unaffected by this change and we’re already busy making the postponed Dietitians Unite event bigger and better than before.

We will be in touch soon with updates on our revised plan for Dietitians Unite, on 26 October in Melbourne. Now, more than ever, is truly the time for us to unite.

FAQ’s

I’ve already registered for Dietitians Unite. Can I receive a refund?
We will automatically transfer your ticket over to the October date if we need to postpone the event. We want to celebrate with you!  If you would like a refund please contact us at info@dietitianconnection.com

What about my flights and hotels?
Please contact your airline and hotel, many are being extremely helpful and waiving change fees.

What about moving the event online?
We have explored other options such as live streaming the content, however, a huge part of the magic of Dietitians Unite is the connections you make through in-person attendance. We hope you can understand that it just wouldn’t be the same online.
