Wow! What a chilly week it has been! What a beautiful sight as we watched the snow fall from our classroom windows. The children enjoyed it so much and were so excited to witness such beauty. Our God is amazing!

Next week, we will only have school on Monday and Tuesday. We have enjoyed learning about all of the details of Thanksgiving. Your child will come home with their Thanksgiving Story today in their Friday Folder, so be sure to have them read it to you. They have worked extremely hard on making it and are so very proud of it!

Next Week

Bible Verse: “Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good,” Psalm 118:1
Bible: Review of The First Thanksgiving (Although this story is not from God’s word, we will learn how this event from our history was part of God’s plan. From discussing that the Pilgrims came to America so they could worship God freely to learning how God provided for the Pilgrims, we will learn about God’s sovereignty)
Phonics/Reading: We will review all of the letters we have learned so far
Math: # 8
Unit: Thanksgiving
