Senate Passes Coronavirus Economic Relief Bill

On March 25th, the Senate passed a $2 trillion economic relief bill by a vote of 96-0. The legislation now heads to the House, where it should pass by voice vote on Friday morning. Once it passes, it will be sent to President Trump for his expected signature.

The measure will hopefully boost the economy and relieve the country from the growing strain of the novel coronavirus. For a summary of community development-related provisions, check out yesterday’s policy alert.
