PreK4 eNews

Our classes have been filled with learning!  The children are busy hearing syllables in words, learning the sounds that letters Cc and Oo make, and creating patterns.  We hope your child is sharing what he/she has been learning!

Next week, we will enjoy learning about apples.  The children will taste a variety of apples, make a class graph of favorites, and help make applesauce.  How fun!  Please send 2 apples with your child at the beginning of the week.  We appreciate your help in making this week tasty and educational!

Next Week

  • Bible Verse: “For nothing is impossible with God.”  Luke 1:37 (We will recite this verse in chapel. Practice at home too!)
  • Bible:  Isaac, the Promised Son
  • Reading/Phonemic Awareness: We will introduce the letter “Aa” and the short vowel sound that /a/makes (think astronaut and alligator).
  • Math:  #3, interpreting data on a graph
  • Unit: Apples
  • Show and Tell: Bring 2 apples (any variety)
