There are now more ways than ever to experience Globe productions, from the comfort of your own home to your local cinema. This month we have just added Digital Theatre to our on screen repertoire, allowing you to download four productions from the 2010 Kings and Rogues season. Complete our theatre survey to be in with a chance of winning Globe DVDs.

Our Education series Playing Indoors continues to fascinate and educate. For those of you who missed the Theatre History seminar you can read our livestreamed tweets on Storify. Further afield Hamlet on tour draws to a close having visited countries as far afield as Mexico and America. Back in London, Twelfth Night and Richard III are now open at the Apollo Theatre in the West End.

With Christmas a mere five weeks away it’s time to start the Christmas list. Keep an eye on our Shop website for ideas. For those keen to be first in line for 2013 theatre season tickets, we offer a range of Friends memberships that all include priority ticket booking.

Globe On Screen launches on Digital Theatre

 

We are delighted to announce our latest on screen venture. Four productions from the 2010 theatre season: Kings and Rogues, including Henry IV parts 1 & 2 are now available to rent or buy from Digital Theatre. Other ways to enjoy our productions on screen include DVDs and cinema releases.

Richard III and Twelfth Night are now both open at the Apollo Theatre in the West End for a strictly limited season. Another chance to catch these hugely popular productions in a new setting. Starring Mark Rylance.

Robert Lepage Playing Cards 1: SPADES

7 February - 2 March 2013, The Roundhouse 
A remarkable new production from world-renowned theatre-maker Robert Lepage created specifically for the round. Playing Cards 1:SPADES explores the theme of war and is set in the desert city of Las Vegas at the onset of the US invasion of Iraq in 2003.
