Modo and Victoria unanimously vote to amalgamate!

It's official – Modo is headed to Victoria! After many months of study and due dilligence, the memberships of both co-ops voted unanimously to amalgamate into one. Not only will this significantly upgrade Victoria's fleet, but now Modo members can seamlessly book vehicles on either side of the Strait!

Read the press release, which captures all the fine details of this historic agreement, including quotes from Modo's CEO and Board Chair.

#LetsModo to Mount Baker

Six pairs of skis (downhill and back-country), snowshoes, food (after a stop at our beloved Trader Joe’s in Bellingham), wine, beer, books, two months worth of The New York Times, and we were ready to hit Mount Baker.

Sneak peak: Modo's new app

If you get real close to your screen and kind of squint, you'll be able to make out one of the screens for the new app we're developing... Or you can wait for the big reveal this spring! The goal is a simpler booking experience with fewer clicks and happier members – and we can't wait to share it with you.

To volunteer for user testing, email marketing@modo.coop (Subject: Sign me up to user test the new app!).

FUNDRAISE FOR TAKE A HIKE  Once again we're supporting adventure-based learning program Take a Hike Foundation at the #Modo8k. How do your donations help?

  • $8 – the cost of 1 waterproof journal used by students for the program's therapy component
  • $18 – gondola for 2 after the Grouse Grind
  • $48 – 1 fleece jacket to keep a student warm on hikes through the rainforest
  • $98 – 1 new tent for 3-day student expedition

Help us reach our fundraising goal by starting a fundraising runner campaign or making a general donation. Every bit helps support these students to learn, heal and grow!
