Kindergarten eNews

We are 100 days smarter, can count to 100 by 1s and 10s, and so much more! We began learning about weather and will continue learning more about the weather this week. One thing we know for sure…the weather is cold outside!

Next Week

  • Unit Study: We will continue to learn about the weather.
  • Show and Tell: Bring an object or picture that is an example of a compound word (sidewalk, doghouse, sunset, etc.). If you choose to use a picture, the picture may come from anything like a drawing, magazine, photograph, etc.
  • Bible: We will continue studying Christ’s life and ministry.
  • Bible Verse: “We love Him because He first loved us.” - 1 John 4:19
  • Reading: We will learn the “ff-ll-ss-zz” (floss) rule for doubling ending consonants, learn new sight words, and continue guided readers.
  • Math: We will continue to review numbers up to 100 and begin learning strategies for subtraction.
