Click here Barnard College Update - Thursday, March 29, 2018Dear Claremont resident: As we near the end of the construction phase and anticipate receiving the temporary certificate of occupancy for The Milstein Center in mid-June, you will notice more activity along Claremont Avenue in the coming weeks. In addition to the final clean-up along Claremont, we will also be removing some of the sidewalk concrete in front of the building to prepare for finishing the entrance area and rebuilding the sidewalk. The trees that were removed along Claremont when the construction project was started will be replaced later this year. In addition, we will also begin removing the construction fence along Claremont in early April and while it shouldn’t be particularly noisy, there may be times that we have areas of the street temporarily closed and flag people directing traffic. In addition, there is still additional work to be completed by Con Edison as we finalize our utility connections to the building that may impact through traffic and parking at times. We would like to reiterate our appreciation for your patience over the past three years and look forward to welcoming you to The Milstein Center when it opens this fall. Let’s hope spring shows its face soon – it’s been an awfully chilly March. Schedule The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. and Saturdays, 8 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Questions?
