Desalination: A drought-resistant water option for California

As California scrambles to find interim and long-term drought solutions, desalination rises to the surface as one possible answer. Desalination removes dissolved salt from seawater or brackish water. Fairbanks, Alaska nonprofit retrofit pilot
Alaska based Rasmuson Foundation awarded RCAC’s Loan Fund up to $2.5 million in low-interest lending capital, and a $25,000 startup grant for the Fairbanks Nonprofit Retrofit Pilot (FNRP) to retrofit nonprofit and tribally owned buildings in Alaska for energy efficiency. Read more>>
