BC Bike Race – Another resounding success for year seven. Participants from 26 countries all over the globe whooped and hollered through the sunshine and singletrack of this year’s BC Bike Race.
Smiles were the mainstay of the week. While the hot sun attempted to wear down the riders, nothing could stop the high flow of energy that filled the trails and base camps.
Finishing in Whistler after seven days of delirious singletrack and repeated enduro segments highlighting the flow that BC is known for, veteran racers pumped high fives and simultaneously cried.
BC Bike Race the top ‘Bucket List’ for mountain bikers around the world maintained the highest standards for courses, food, safety and fun over seven days as nearly 1000 people (staff, participants and support) travelled through six lower mainland communities: Cumberland, Campbell River, Powell River, Sechelt, Squamish and Whistler.
